On Thursday 22 September 2022 PT. Inamas Synthesis Technology made a company visit to the Farmers' Agricultural Course (KPTT) Salatiga and ATMI Surakarta. Visiting activities are carried out to refresh the mind to find other innovative ideas based on the visits that have been made. The visit at the KPTT gained knowledge about integrated farming where all the needs of agricultural activities are produced independently such as fertilizer. Fertilizer produced at KPTT Salatiga is organic fertilizer
because it is obtained from farms owned by KPTT Salatiga. In addition, they store the biogas produced from the manure to operate the kitchen owned by the KPTT.
In addition to conventional farming, KPTT also does smart farming. KPTT also has an agricultural system using hydroponics where the hydroponic system is operated using solar panels. Then for the nutrients from these plants, they use Hoagland nutrients, which are judged to be sufficient for the needs of the plants themselves. The visit to the KPTT was closed with lunch where the ingredients were obtained from the land they owned.
The visit was continued to ATMI Solo where they as a school with basic machinery also began to work in the agricultural sector using greenhouses and hydroponics with automation systems. At ATMI Solo, they can control their greenhouse and hydroponics remotely using an app. This technology will certainly be very helpful because the greenhouse owned by ATMI Solo is large enough so that it will be very efficient if it is carried out in a systematic manner and can be connected remotely. In addition, ATMI Solo also makes indoor farming where all components are considered to meet the needs of plants. This is certainly very interesting considering the increasingly narrow agricultural land, it is necessary to find agricultural innovations like this where indoor farming is still thinking about temperature, humidity, water needs, light, water discharge, nutrients and others. What's more, everything is made in a systematic way so that what is done every day is only to monitor whether the existing system is in accordance with what the plants need. As a company with basic machinery, to show its seriousness, ATMI Solo created a division devoted to conducting research on agriculture.
