On March 27-31, 2023, Olifant High School held a Vocational Exposure Program (VEP) in collaboration with PT Inamas Sintesis Teknologi. The Vocational Exposure Program is a mandatory program from Olifant High School for 8th grade students. PT Inamas Sintesis Teknologi has been given the opportunity to become the partner in organizing this program with the aim of introducing students to the scope of work in local industry through a 5-day internship program.

Seven students participating in VEP at INASTEK have taken part in a series of activities related to INASTEK’s industrial scope including agrotechnology, circular economy, educational technology and industrial automation. Apart from that, the students were also taught directly about the seeding process using rockwool as growing medium for plants and making a vertical garden using peat moss. As a result of completing the program, students were expected to create a few projects inspired by INASTEK products such as Reverse Vending Machine (RVM) and Amanda Controller for their final assessment. The projects were presented directly to Mr. Yosef Adhitya Duta as main director, Mr. Bayu Hari Santoso as director of production technology, Mrs. Roosasella as business development, and teacher representatives from Olifant High School.

During final assessment, the students were seen to be very enthusiastic in presenting their project in creating sustainable innovative products. As a form of appreciation to the students, INASTEK gave awards in the form of certificates to all students and several merchandise to the best students. This collaboration certainly provides innovative solutions in providing experience and training in industry through education.
