On December 3, 2023, Inastek held a workshop titled Introduction to Upcycling Plastic Waste at SMAN 1 Sleman. This workshop is one of the activities in the Inastek Educare program aimed to raise awareness of environmental concerns and introduce the concept of circular economy at educational level.
As part of Inastek Educare Workshop program, students were taught to identify types of plastic bottles that can be recycled. In addition, they were also introduced to the operation of injection machines brought by the Inastek Educare team as recycling tools. During this activity, students were very enthusiastic when given the opportunity to practice directly on how to transform plastic bottle caps into chips that would later be melted to form a rabbit puzzle.
The Inastek Educare Workshop program is designed to assist in managing plastic waste production, thus benefiting schools. Certainly, this program has an impact on increasing environmental awareness behaviors and creating habits for all school residents.
